Summary of work:

As a Senior Copywriter within The Trade Desk’s in-house Creative Shop, this role helps shape global brand storytelling across events, product marketing, education, social, digital, and experiential initiatives.

The role leads creative concepting, naming exploration, messaging creative strategy, and copy development across integrated campaigns, including product releases, The Trade Desk Edge Academy, OpenTTD, employee branding, webinars, global events, and major industry moments such as Cannes Lions, POSSIBLE Miami, and Advertising Week New York. Work spans naming, email, social, video, digital advertising, out-of-home, event activations, video, and landing pages. Working closely with creative directors, designers, producers, marketers, producers, editors, and cross-functional partners, the role translates complex advertising advertising technology, data, and AI topics into clear, compelling narratives.

Serving as both a strategic creative partner and hands-on writer, this role helps establish campaign throughlines, scalable messaging systems, and cohesive brand storytelling across channels.

Objective: Build an ownable brand experience for The Trade Desk at major industry moments, creating space for clients, partners, and leaders to connect beyond traditional conference programming.
Role: Led the messaging strategy and creative throughline across naming, positioning, invitations, campaign copy, website, social ideation and copy, video scripting, edit direction, and messaging.
Outcome: OpenHouse became The Trade Desk’s signature gathering place at major industry events. At one activation, it welcomed 250 attendees, generated 280 meaningful conversations, and influenced $372M in pipeline across 30 strategic opportunities.

The Trade Desk OpenForum

OpenForum is The Trade Desk’s intimate event series for senior marketing leaders — bringing together industry voices for candid conversations, fresh perspectives, and practical ideas around the forces shaping advertising, media, technology, and culture. Across destinations and moments, OpenForum creates space for meaningful dialogue, peer connection, and shared learning.

Outcome: OpenForum created a consistent platform for candid conversation, fresh perspectives, and practical ideas across distinct markets and industry moments, helping The Trade Desk deepen engagement with senior clients and partners.

International Women’s Day

International Women’s Day at The Trade Desk brings together women and allies across the industry for conversations centered on leadership, career growth, representation, and the experiences shaping women in advertising and technology.

Kokai’s Zuma Release marked the next evolution of The Trade Desk’s platform, introducing a refreshed experience designed to help traders work faster, optimize with greater intelligence, and make more confident decisions.

Objective: Build clear, compelling messaging that translated a complex product release into an accessible story for traders and clients.
Role: Led messaging strategy and copy development across The Trade Desk Edge Academy Trading Essentials course launch positioning, website, certification messaging, email, social, digital, and supporting campaign touch points.
Outcome: Created a cohesive launch narrative that connected Zuma’s product updates to real trader value, helping drive awareness, education, and adoption across the platform.

Trader Monthly Newsletter

Traders of Tomorrow Monthly Brief is a recurring newsletter designed to help Traders (people who actively manage digital advertising campaigns inside ad-buying platforms) stay informed, work more efficiently, and get more value from the platform through timely, relevant product and performance updates.

Objective: Introduce a high-value monthly newsletter that strengthens how The Trade Desk communicates with and supports Traders.

Role: Shaped the messaging strategy, content structure, and editorial approach, prioritizing feature releases, workflow improvements, performance insights, and actionable guidance.

Outcome: Created a more intentional communication channel that translates product updates into practical, workflow-based content designed to drive adoption, improve performance, and complement existing Trader communications.
