As a Copywriter and Community Manager for Captain Morgan, I worked with an Art Director/Animator to create campaigns, content, and copywriting for Captain Morgan Original Spiced Rum and Sliced Apple. As Community Manager and Strategist, a key part of my position was to identify trends related to spirits, elevate, and transform brand relevance.

For the Captain Morgan Sliced Apple launch, we handed full creative control to a roster of vibrant street artists and video creators across the U.S. — each creator crafted unique content to introduce the flavor in their own voice. Their content took over Captain Morgan's social media channels, with murals and videos from cities like New York, LA, Miami, Austin, and Atlanta. Rather than the brand making the announcement, creators did, bringing community-rooted authenticity and energy to the launch.
